Our volleyball team captured 4th Place in the first Carroll County Firemen's Volleyball Tournament. Several members of the department represented Union Bridge at the tournament hosted by the Winfield VFD on Sunday, August 21st. Only four companies were represented, Winfield(14), Gamber(13), New Windsor(10) and Union Bridge. The round robin tournament provided the opportunity for our members to see some old faces from around the county while participating in a friendly volleyball competition. While our team put forth an outstanding effort, they were unable to break into the top three. Perhaps with a little practice next year we'll be bring home a medal!
Thanks to the Winfield VFD for hosting the event and providing dinner. We had a great time.
