| Some of you may have already seen or heard about the Union Bridge Fire Company having a carnival/festival on social media or through friends. Well, it's official!!!!
The fire company WILL be having a Summer Carnival on August 19, 20 and 21st.
On Thursday, we will open at 5 PM and close at 9 PM.
On Friday and Saturday, we will open at 5 PM and close at 10 PM.
Each night we will have everyone's favorite carnival foods that include:
Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, Fried Ham, Fried Chicken, Pit Beef and Pit Turkey, French Fries, Pizza, Funnel Cakes and Ice Cream. We will also have a variety of beverages available.
Nightly, we will be having on-stage entertainment!!!!!
Thursday: enjoy popular music presented by DJ Matt Phelps of Hurricane Productions
Friday: Live music by "Special Delivery Band"
Saturday: Live music by "Dixie Wind Band"
A new addition to our carnival like event is a "Beer Garden!!" (pending approval of Liquor Board)
We will also have pull-tabs, Gun Jar and 50/50 raffles for those who like to gamble.
A "Silent Auction" will be opening at 4 PM to 9 PM on Thursday and Friday; then 4 PM to 7 PM on Saturday. The auction will end promptly at 7 PM Saturday evening.
Kids entertainment will be "Inflatables" set-up on the carnival grounds for their enjoyment.
Though not the same as our traditional annual carnival because we will not be having the usual rides and games, everyone can at least come enjoy a few nights of our awesome carnival foods and live "open-air" music. |
