At our monthly 'Fire Company Business' meeting, Lifetime Honorary Member Scott Davis received an award from the "Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firemen's Association" for "50 Years of Dedicated Service" to that organization. Robert Cumberland from the Westminster Fire Department presented the award to 'Scotty' before our meeting began and was congratulated by the Company with a standing ovation.
A lifelong resident of Union Bridge, 'Scotty' is one of our oldest members in the Company and is still active by helping with fundraising events. His dediction to our department has lasted over 50 years and he is a familiar face around the fire station. 'Scotty' has served as Chief, President and many other offices needed to run our organization. He also served for many years as a Union Bridge Town Councilman and was involved in several different capacities of the Carroll County Government.
"Scotty' worked for and retired from the Lehigh Portland Cement Company located in Union Bridge.
