The Officers and Members of the Union Bridge Fire Company extend our deepest sympathies to the family, friends and fellow emergency responders of career Paramedic/Firefighter Robert A. "Bobby" Jones.

Bobby began his fire service career when he joined the Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Company in September of 1978. He became a career firefighter in February 1982 with the Baltimore County Fire Department until his retirement as a Fire Lieutenant in April of 2012. He also served as a paid Paramedic/Firefighter/Engineer with the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Co. since the late 1980's.

He was a member of the Lansdowne Volunteer Fire Company from 2011-2013 and joined the Cape St. Claire Volunteer Fire Company in January 2013 where he served as a driver/firefighter and was promoted to Lieutenant in May 2021.

Line-of-Duty Death of Paramedic/Firefighter Robert A. “Bobby” Jones
Announcement of Visitation & Funeral with full Line-of-Duty Honors

The visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company - 1745 Baltimore Blvd. Westminster, MD 21157.

The funeral service with full Line-of-Duty honors will be held on Sunday, January 30th, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Westminster High School Auditorium - 1225 Washington Rd. Westminster, MD 21157.

A procession to the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens Fallen Heroes section will follow with a graveside committal.

A reception at the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company will follow all services on Sunday.

"Class A" uniforms for fire department personnel are preferred, if available.

Personnel and apparatus are to report to Westminster High School by 9:00 am on Sunday, January 30th, 2022.

Companies or departments intending to bring apparatus to the funeral and participate in the procession are asked to contact LODDFuneralApparatus@gmail.com.
