Annually, during the Fire Company's December Monthly Business Meeting, an 'Election of Officers' for the following year is held to determine Administrative, Fire and EMS leadership positions. The newly elected Officers serve for a term of 1 year (Jan 1 to Dec 31), but there are no 'term limits'.

The elections were held on December 6th, 2016 and the Officers of the Union Bridge Fire Company, Inc. for the year 2017 will take office on January 1, 2017.

Congratulations to those chosen to lead our department through the 2017 year!

The Fire Company would also like to congratulate and thank Thomas M. Garber, for serving this department for 21 consecutive years as the "President". Tom will continue to serve this department in 2017, as a member of the "Board of Directors".

Another longtime Officer of this department should also be congratulated for his service. H. Micheal Cartwright has served as a Fire Officer for over 30 years. He has served in the capacities of Fire Lieutenant, Fire Captain, Rescue Captain and Assistant Chief. He will remain the company's "Training Officer" and according to him, "I'm still gonna respond on calls!". Thank you Mike, for serving this community as a leader within our Fire Company.
