Golf Tournament a Big Success

The 3rd Annual Golf Tournament of the Union Bridge Fire Company was a big success. Nearly 80 golfers showed up for a day of golf, prizes and good food at The Links at Gettysburg, just north of Harney on August 20th. The weather was great and the beverages were cold while teams played for low scores, attempted hole-in-ones for prizes and generally just had fun. The 6,277 yard course was very challenging, to say the least.

After the 18 hole round was complete, teams met at the dining hall for good food served by the staff at the golf course. Then prizes for longest tee shot, closest to the pin shots and other prizes and door prizes were presented to the golfers.
