On July 9th, several members of the "New Apparatus Committee" made a trip to the 4-Guys manufacturing plant in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania to inspect and pay for the Spartan Gladiator chassis for our new pumper/tanker. The committee spent about 2 1/2 hours going over every aspect of the new chassis and found only a few minor issues that can be easily fixed. After the inspection, two members of the committee took the chassis out for a road trip and found that it exceeded our expectations, especially the turning radius.

After a short tour of the plant to see what they were currently building, the committee met with a representative of 4-Guys to pay for the chassis. The representative advised that the chassis will move into the production line for the pump and body manufacturing sometime in September and should be finished around 90 days after they begin.
