SANTA IS COMING TO TOWN!!!!!!

He will be at the fire station between 9AM and 11AM at the "Public Breakfast" on December 14, which is held at the Union Bridge Fire Company Activities Center/Social Hall.

Then, starting on December 15th, the annual "Santa Watch" is coming back to the Union Bridge area for three days to deliver some early tasty treats (oranges and candy canes). Listed below is the schedule and routes he will be travelling with members of the fire company along with a small parade of fire equipment. All times for the schedule/routes begin at 6 PM and end at 8 PM.

Monday, December 15 - Bucher John Rd., FSK Hwy. (Keymar), Middleburg Rd., Union Bridge Rd. and Phillips Lane

Tuesday, December 16 - Town of Union Bridge

Thursday, December 18 - Bark Hill Rd., Rampart Way, Star Ct., Banner Ave., Raywell Ave., Hoff Rd., Stem Rd., McKinstry Mill Rd. and Marble Quarry Rd.

The rain date for any of the above dates will be on Friday, December 19th.

So make sure you've been good and watch out for the flashing lights and sirens.

For safety reasons, we encourage everyone to stay away from the side of the road when you see and hear the lights and sirens until we come to a complete stop. We may actually be responding to an emergency. We also recommend that you turn on your porch lights (flash them when we approach) to let us know you have children who wish to see Santa and get a treat. We'll be watching, even if you don't have lights, but it does help us to locate you.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY! When stopping for Santa to deliver treats, we WILL be positioning our apparatus to temporarily close the road to traffic movement for the safety of the children and our members. For this reason, in certain high traffic areas, we may take a little longer to get to you so that backed-up traffic can pass.

For questions or concerns, call the fire station.
