| Box 8-1. At 17:42 hours on August 8, 2013, Station 8 was dispatched for a MVC near the entrance to Silver Oaks Academy, 999 Crouse Mill Rd. Upon arrival of Paramedic 89, it was found that a vehicle had been broad-sided with one trapped. Chief 8-1 (Cartwright) arrived and established "Crouse Mill Command" while Rescue Squad 8 arrived and confirmed the need for extrication.
After removing a door to gain better access to the patient, the patient was loaded into Paramedic 89 and transported Priority 3 to Carroll Hospital Center. The scene was turned over to the Carroll County Sheriffs Office and all other units cleared the scene at 18:16 hours. |
