The Union Bridge Fire Company is proudly announcing that a new ambulance has been ordered and is currently in production. The new ambulance will replace our 2006 Chevrolet C4500 Medium Duty/Marque Ambulance. We are expecting delivery of the new unit within the next 2 months.

The new ambulance is being built by "Road Rescue" and will be on a Ford F550 4x4 chassis. It will feature new technologies to assist in patient care as well as providing new safety features to reduce injury to our EMS providers.

Recently, Officers of the company secured a low interest loan from the Carroll County Commissioners to pay for the new unit, which costs approximately $200,000. More information about the new ambulance will be provided in the upcoming weeks. You can view the lastest production drawing PDF of the ambulance below.
