Frederick County Box 17-35. At about 13:50 hours, "Frederick" dispatched Station 8 units to Route 75 and Beaver Dam Road for a MVC roll-over, involving a tractor trailer with a load of cement. Frederick County Station 17 was also dispatched to assist from the south side of the MVC. "ATR-1" (Cartwright) was first to arrive on-scene and confirmed the dispatch information. He also advised that the driver was self-extricating through a cab door.

"ATR-1" established "Route 75 Command" and requested MD State Highways due to the road being impassible and MDE due to a large amount of cement into 'Beaver Dam Creek'. There was reported to be around 26,000 pounds of cement in the bulk storage trailer.

Upon arrival of Rescue Squad 8, Chief 8 (Green) assumed command. By this time, the driver was out of the truck. Paramedic 89 arrived and assessed the patient, then transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

The road remains closed at the time of this story for clean-up. The cause of the incident is unknown at this time and no other vehicles were involved. Units cleared after about an hour.
