"Santa Watch - 2011", was once again, very successful. Santa Claus was happy to see all of the wonderful children and Christmas decorations celebrating another holiday season. He was also glad that our fire company could transport him through the various areas around Union Bridge, giving his reindeer a rest, so they would be ready for Christmas Eve.
Over 200 oranges and candy canes were given out to children living in Union Bridge and the surrounding communities. Special thanks, goes out to all of the members who had the great opportunity to help with this enjoyable community outreach program. The expressions on the childrens faces when they see Santa, truly brings the spirit of the holiday season alive.
We also hope, that everyone in the community enjoyed getting a chance to see Santa early. Though he is usually quite busy this time of the year, Santa promised to be back for "Santa Watch - 2012"
